Skagway & Yukon,BC

Hi Again,
We had incredable weather today. It reached 88 degrees. They haven't had this kind of weather for many years in Skagway. We picked up our car and headed for the yukon. We traveled over many great scenes. First we went over the border to Canada and we saw some amazing mountains and waterfalls. We stopped at a lake called the green emerald lake. It was an unbelievable site. The water was the prettiest colors. The green colors come from shells, and glacier waters when mixed with low oxygen levels. Very pretty. We also stopped at this amazing little bakery that had the best cinnamon rolls. It was the only shop for miles. We didn't see much wildlife on this trip though. No gold either.
On our way back we went to the suspension bridge. It was over this river. I was scared to death to cross it but I did it. Beautiful pictures (Mike had to take them because I was to scared to stop on it. (The girls are making a movie that we will post tomorrow with a clip of this). We also went through the worlds smallest deserts. Kind of crazy that Alaska has rainforest, snow mountains, deserts and much more! Whales were all around our ship tonight! Fun to watch. We are heading to the Icy Straight. Will post lots of pictures tomorrow. Very tired tonight.
Thanks everyone for posting.
Special Hi to Asher, Isaac, Vienne, Zachary and Ella!

Hi Doucette Family,

I just love all the sights and sounds of your vacation. Sounds like everyone is enjoying themselves. Bring back that 80 degree weather with you. Fog this morning and rain tomorrow. Can't wait for your next installment.
