juneau

Another spectacular day! The weather couldn't be anymore perfect. It was sunny and 83 degrees today. Very unusual for Juneau. We rented a car ( from rent a wreck, the kids have some stories about the car) and drove along their only major road. We went to many places, mostly beach areas today. We saw some amazing sites We went to St.Teresa church, a beautiful location on a island. Also went to Mendallan Glacier, saw the biggest waterfall, visited eagle beach and watched the tide come in, took the tram to the top of Mt Roberts, and went to a ski mountain. Back on ship we had a wonderful dinner and watched the magic show. Everyone is a little tired from our long day. In the morning we will be Skagway, rented another car and are heading for the Yukon(canada). We're hoping to find some gold! Hope all is well at home.

HI Auntie Brenda, Uncle Mike, Alex and Liv,
We just had a chance to visit your blog today( we were in NH exploring) and WOW! ISaac said WOAH! look at that MOOSE and of course Asher loved the sea life center pics and the Whales. The biggest hit was the Grizzley bear pics. They can't believe the Ice breaking into the water makes such a loud noise...of course had to explain what a sonic boom was. ISaac saw the puppies and said"Aww cuuute". He loves dogs! The pics are beautiful Brenda you have to make some cards out of them. Or maybe Christmas presents HInt HInt! You know how we all love handmade gifts. The thing that we all can't believe...you actually stayed in the woods with NO ELECTRICITY and NO WATER! Asher and Isaac wanted to be right with you in that picture surrounded by woods around the camp fire roasting I think was it Marshmallows...at least that is what Isaac thought. Of COurse their life revolves around food and snacks! Thanks for doing this Blog it is our saving grace through the summer b/c they will want to check it everyday now!-Best Wishes and Love, Asher, ISaac, and Vienne (VIenne is pulling herself up now! She claps b/c she is so proud of herself, Marc and DeeDee
