July 3rd & 4th

Happy 4th of July!
We had a great day yesterday. We went to the Sea Life center in Seward and had so much fun. Very hands on. It was also getting ready for their fourth of July mountain race. All kinds of activities going on. Very crazy. We got on our ship late afternoon. OMG! What a beautiful ship. We've never been on anything this fancy. Our cabin in nice. Nothing grand but very nice. Everything about this ship is first class. (from RV to luxury). They charge a fortune for Internet service so I have to keep in kind of short.
Today we stayed on the ship. We hardly seen the girls since we've got on. Lots of activities for them. Even Alex has ditched us. The food is unbelievable. We sailed to Hubbard Glacier and spent the afternoon there. You don't get off the boat. It is one of the most amazing sites we have every seen. The weather approaching the glacier was very foggy and the captain wasn't sure if we would be able to view it well. About 30 minutes until we arrived the fog cleared and it turned to a beautiful day. We watched the glacier come into it's glory! To watch one calf is unbelievable. You first see the glacier break and then you hear a sonic boom (mother natures fireworks)! Huge splash and waves. Lots of fun to watch. Tonight was formal night so we all got dressed up. Us RV folks clean up nice.
Hi Nana & Pop, we are thinking of you in Alaska. I hope everyone had a good fourth. We all want to send uncle marc a happy birthday tomorrow. At dinner tonight they brought mike over a birthday cake and we all sang. He just loved that.
Tomorrow we are in Juneau for the day. We have rented a car and will be exploring!
Stayed tuned.
The pictures are of some of the birds and sealife in Alaska and of the glacier today.
Thanks to my class for viewing this. I miss you all already. Remember to read!

Brenda - Mike and I are so happy to see you survived your RV leg of Alaska!!! See we knew the wilderness wouldn't get you! Enjoy the cruise ... pics are awesome, can't wait to see the whole collection when you get home. Tell the girls hi... and not to stay out too late dancing at the disco. And try to keep Mike from eating everything in sight! Have fun - Sharon
